David was born August 11, 1976 to David Boward Sr. and Johnna Boward in Vallejo, CA. He was the 5th of 6 children and the only son. He attended schools in Korea, South Carolina, New Hampshire and Delaware; graduating from Glasgow High School in Bear, DE in 1994.
He joined the MT National Guard January 21, 2005 leaving with an Honorable Discharge in December 31, 2006.
He met his wife Mary Beth for the first time in 1999 and was reunited with her in 2007. David and Mary Beth married January 17, 2009 in Forsyth and with their daughter Laramie created the family he wanted. He was overjoyed to know he would become a proud father yet again this December, to another beautiful little girl. David was the type of man who would do anything to help anybody in need. He was a wonderful provider for his family, though that took him away from the family he deeply loved more than he liked.
David enjoyed collecting knives, watching the History Channel as much as possible, spending time with his family, and was an avid closet Star Wars figurine collector.
He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents.
David is survived by his wife Mary Beth, daughter Laramie and unborn daughter; his parents David Sr. and Johnna Boward; his sisters Cindy Boward, Michele (Jeff) Hunt, Wendy Boward, Heather Boward and Mairi Moore. He is also survived by 10 nieces and 6 nephews; his In-laws George and Jan Simmons, Stacey Fletcher, Mark (Angie) Simmons, Jackie (Jason) Smith and Kevin Simmons.

Family Receiving Friends will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00pm in the Chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth. Interment will follow with Full Military Honors in the Forsyth Cemetery.
