Interment: will follow at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette, Wy
David John Knigge, age 16, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2003 as a result of a vehicle accident.
David was born on January 9, 1987 in Gillette, Wyoming the son of Christian Dean Knigge and Toni Lynn Ojala. He worked for Connely Trees and owned and operated Davey Js Skateboard Shack. David enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, snowmobiling, playing guitar, and most of all being with his friends. He loved life and loved making people smile and laugh. David is survived by his mother and step-father, Toni and Dave Jackson; his father, Dean Knigge; his sisters: Courtney Keller and Christian Jackson; his grandparents: Roger and Karen Mallak, Buzz and Kay Knigge, and Mary Knigge all of Gillette, Wyoming and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2003 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home where a time of reminiscing and remembrances will be shared. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Gillette, Wyoming, with Pastor Sonja Bruckloker officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming. Pens will be available for friends and family members to sign Davids casket.
