David Kuchynka Jr, age 62, passed away quietly at Holy Rosary Healthcare on Thursday, April 11th, supported and surrounded by family. He was born in Billings, MT to David and Judy-Meyers Kuchynka. His family moved to Miles City early in his childhood, where he was raised and attended school. David worked a wide variety of labor-intensive jobs around the community.
David was an avid card player who loved sharing in games of Uno with friends and family, occasionally capped off by a late-day coyote hunting expedition, or similar adventure. David was very generous with his time and was always busy lending a hand to his friends who were so important to him. David had a great affection for animals, especially cats, and gave many a little stray a warm and loving home over the years. No matter his circumstance, he always shared his home with a furry friend.
David was last employed at Quality of Meats of Montana in Miles City. David was preceded in death by his father David, his mother Judy, and his brother-in-law Jeff Pittman. He is survived by his siblings Judy Pittman of Acworth, GA, Vonnie (Bob) Goodson and Alan (Ruth) Kuchynka of Miles City, Katy (Alan Parr) Marshall of Sorrento, LA, and Toni (Greg White) Kuchynka-Breeden of Canton, GA. He is also survived by his son Shawn Kuchynka of Washington and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dear Family and Friends of David Kuchynka, even though I did not personally know Mr. Kuchynka, the loss of every human life is significant to me and should be valued by all. The Bible book of Hebrews reminds us that God does not forget all of the love and fine works shown by Mr. Kuchynka (Heb 6:10). It was not God’s original purpose that mankind die. At creation God was able to say that everything was “very good” (Gen 1:31) Death was introduced through Adam’s disobedience (Genesis 2:17). Jesus’ sacrifice of his human life on earth again gave us hope of everlasting life and soon death will be no longer occur (Revelation 21:4). Hopefully, faith in these Bible promises will ease the pain from this loss as you look forward to seeing David Kuchynka again under perfect conditions.

For the last few years Dave often walked by my house in the evening. My doxies got to know him well and they would get quite verbal if he did not stop and visit and pet each one of them before he continued on his way. I also enjoyed a quick visit with him, but only after the doxies got their share of attention. I believe that anyone who loves and is kind to animals has a truely good heart and Our Father in heaven will abundantly reward their goodness. As for me and the doxies; We will miss him.

Mom (Aunt Aggie) told me about David’s passing on Sunday. Currently, I don’t have email at home, just work. I know mom wishes she could have been there with you in your time of sorrrow. Just know that I share her sentiment. We love you guys and our prayers are with you at this time of loss and always.
