Deanna Marie Williams Coleman was born October 13, 1961 (on her Grandma Edna’s Birthday) in Denver Colorado to Harold and Betty Williams. She passed peacefully January 23rd, 2018 with her son Matthew and her sister Deb by her side.
Deanna was a jack of all trades. She worked different jobs of employment throughout her life. Her most interesting place of employment was installing fiber optic phone lines in the Caribbean Islands after Hurricane Hugo hit. Having this employment gave her the opportunity to travel all over the U.S. and abroad. After she came back to Montana she settled in Belgrade Mt. where her Mother and Step-Father Jesse Erickson resided. Here she worked for Gallatin Homes building cabinets. Deanna then moved to Miles City in 1989 where she met her friend and companion for the last 29 years, (Jim Dick). Deanna worked for Lucky Lil’s, Trails Inn, CJ’s and Ranger Riders in Miles City.
Deanna was a true warrior in her battle with cancer the last 21 years. She always had the belief that “To have a good life, you gotta live a little more than most would like- There are no Good-Byes.” After Deanna’s illness progressed to where she could no longer work she enjoyed woodworking, crocheting, quilting and had a green thumb to boot. Her projects were her gift giving talent to be shared with friends and family.
Deanna is survived by her companion Jim Dick, sons: Matthew (Jen) Kennedy, Gillette Wy. Charles (Amanda) Dick, Miles City Mt. Brothers, Ted (Julie) Williams, Mike (Jolene) Williams, all of Culbertson Mt., Ed (Loree) Cumming, Columbia Falls, MT., Sisters Jewell (Gary) Reep, Lolo Mt. and Deb (Randy) Bickel, Miles City, Mt. Nine Grandchildren, four nieces, two nephews and many great nieces and nephews whom she adored all very much. She also leaves behind her most beloved cat (Sammy).
Deanna is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Betty and step-father Jesse Erickson and nephew Teddy Ray Suko.
