Debbie Ritts, age 58, of Miles City passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home in Miles City.
Debbie was born on November 3, 1957 in Loma Linda, California, the daughter of William and Carol (Elliot) Housel. She attended grade school in both California and Oklahoma growing up. She married Michael Ailey on March 15, 1974 and to this union four children were born. Later on she married Dennis Andrie. They spent 25 years together. They traveled around together and enjoyed camping and fishing. She helped Dennis raise his children. In 2001 she married Jay Dee Ritts. They made their home in Miles City where she lived until the time of her passing.
Debbie loved rock hunting, loved collectables, writing, crocheting as well as growing plants. She was the type of mom who always wanted to make holiday’s and birthday’s special to her family no matter what they had in life.
Debbie is survived by her sons: Jesse Ailey of Broadus, MT and Shane Ailey of Strong, OK; a daughter Christy Smith of Cheyenne, WY; her mother Carol Mclemore of Oklahoma City, OK; a brother William, two sisters Pam and Connie; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son Jeramiah Joseph Ailey.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City, MT. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
