Family will receive friends:from 2:00 3:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home.
A Special Memorial service: will be held at EMI on Thursday from 1:00 2:00 p.m.
Burial: will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Custer County Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
Dennis Jacob Schlinker, age 51 of Miles City, Montana, formerly of Terry, Montana passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2004 at the Homestead Assisted Living in Miles City.
Dennis was born on April 10, 1953 in Terry, Montana, the son of Emil and Elsie (Kelle) Schlinker. He was raised in Terry where he lived with his parents. He enjoyed fishing with his dad on the Yellowstone River and at Intake Dam and would always come back and show how big a fish he had caught. Dennis also enjoyed reading his magazines and being around the garden and would eat the watermelon straight out of the field. In 1992, he moved to Miles City to live at Homestead Assisted Living, where he has resided ever since. While in Miles City, Dennis began working at Eastern Montana Industries and loved taking part in their activities and spending time with his friends.
Dennis is survived by his sister, Shirley of Tucson, AZ, an aunt, Leona Patrick of Deer Lodge, MT, an uncle, DavidSchlinker of Miles City, MT and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Emil and Elsie, and three aunts; Elsie Wolff, Pauline Sundberg, and Bertha Opp.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Eastern Montana Industries. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 3:30 P.M. at the Custer County Cemetery in the family lot.
