Im so sorry to hear about Deryl passing. I sure wish we could of gotten together as a family before all this had to happen. We are all getting up in age and need to get together but not like this. It saddens me to think he is gone.
I sat the other night thinking and remembering how Deryl and Ernie and Uncle Roger would lock us girls in Grandpa Pulses garage Boy I miss those days of fun and games. We were all so close in age and close in family (cousins) Now we are leaving without seeing each other in such a long time. Its really sad. God bless you all. He is now up with Aunt Virginia and Stacy And Grandma and Grandpa Pulse and the rest of the family and also everyone else. They are waiting for us to come home too.

Been in shock and lost since the day Brenda messaged me and told me that Deryl passed….Wish I could’ve made it back. So I’m sharing this. Hope someone sees it…Sooo many memories! The old swimming hole when we were kids…old coal mining pit, lol. Dad and Ducky loading us in to the back of Roanie and just giving us a cold tarp to cover up as we road in the back of the box. October in Montana to hunt deer, it was cold. We always drove out be for light and parked, by Mount Mountatoe, as Deryl called it, waiting, Then bounced around for hours. Pheasant hunting on the creek My hearing issues today are from him behind me, shooting at a pheasant that flushed, If he would have just stepped 2 more feet forward, lol…And for that. Hugh thank you to Bailey and Ester Egan for letting us grow and appreciate the use of their land….I know that you were a Hugh influence for my cousins growing up….Sooo many memories. Who would have known that you could catch a 3 foot pike in Rosebud Creek?! Deryl grew up as I call it, Rosebud Creek people. It shaped his life. The same October/November days as we got older. After a morning hunt, Dery,l Darrin and l would play 2 on 1 football in the front yard….and aunt Virginia yelling at Deryl and Darrin wrestling in the living room, lol. The days of stopping in and Aunt Virginia’s pancakes and she always made her own syrup. The days of cruising Rosebud Creek, across Greenleaf to the Tongue River and over to Snyder Creek…Hunting coyotes in December…and saw two of the biggest Mule Deer bucks in our lives….we almost became poachers that day! So many memories, I would have to write a book to get them down. And thank you to Wally, Clint McRae for letting us fish on their property that bordered the Tongue River. Boating and camping at the Tongue. 4th of July at Gary’s…The sparkler Bombs that almost took Gary’s head off. Crazy stuff! But the best memories of life! A few I won’t mention…those our ours. But one of my many favorite memories, Deryl and I laughed about his for hours….I don’t remember which family members it was, might have been Jason. Shot his first buck. Uncle Ducky tried this great hunter to teach the young hunter, that when you shoot your first deer…You had to eat a piece of the liver, wth. we called him on it. He did it, but he spwnt the next 30 minutes heaving, lmao!…….Memories…….And the year that Deryl was hired to keep Deer off the alfalfa fields on Rosebud Creek, I road with him….All the deer hunters complained about shot gun pellets in their deer! Hell yeah, those deer wouldn’t leave the field on their own…..Memories!
