Diane Marisa Flower Fisher passed away in her sleep on August 14, 2007.
Born April 5, 1963 in Madrid, Spain, she was adopted as an infant and lived in Spain for a year before returning to the U.S. with her family and spent most of her growing-up years in Miles City, Montana.Diane graduated from Custer County High School in 1981 and then moved to Denver, Colorado, where she met and later married David Fisher. They have two sons: Brandon, 21; and Bryce, 15; who reside in Grand Forks, North Dakota.Diane loved craft-making, gardening, cooking-baking-canning, and her beloved pets. She enjoyed singing with her special friend of many years, Herron Nelson. She especially loved her boys and was so proud of them. Plagued by illness throughout her life, she spent her final years confined to a wheelchair while living in Spokane, Washington, hoping for the day she might walk again. We believe she is walking now, surrounded by loved one's who have gone on before her.Diane is survived by her parents, Judson and Juanita Flower, long-time residents of Miles City now living in Billings; her sons Brandon and Bryce; her sister, Joan Rudd of Bellingham, Washington; and two brothers: Thomas, currently working and living with his family in Kuwait; and Benjamin of Snoqualmie, Washington.
Diane will be buried in the family plot in Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, Montana.Visitation will begin on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City with family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel, 825Moorehead in Miles City.
