Diane Victoria Frye (Bessette)

Graveside Services: Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 2 pm in the Scenic, SD Cemetery

Diane Victoria Frye (Bessette), age 54, of Gillette, Wyoming, died Saturday, December 27, 2003 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming from complications with pneumonia.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 2 pm in the Scenic, SD Cemetery. Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home of Gillette, Wyoming is entrusted with the arrangements.

Diane was born March 1, 1949, the daughter of Ernest and Mary (King) Bessette. She grew up on a ranch near Scenic, South Dakota. Diane attended a small country school and graduated from high school in Wall, South Dakota.

She has lived in Wyoming, Arizona, and South Dakota. She worked for New Kirks Ace Hardware in Rapid City, South Dakota as a bookkeeper until her health wouldnt allow her to work anymore. Due to the MS she became a resident of the Pioneer Manor Nursing home in Gillette, Wyoming in 1992

Her survivors include her daughter, Leane Trask of Gillette, Wyoming, her son, Lonnie Trask of Witchita Falls, Texas, her Maternal Grandmother of 99 years, Georgia King of Rapid City, South Dakota, two brothers: Duane (Joan) Bessette of Philip, Ronald (Stella) Barney of Denver, Colorado, and two sisters: Kathy Neumann of Rapid City, South Dakota, Jean (Bob) Dennis of Rapid City, South Dakota. Included are six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her paternal grandparents, James Lee and Victoria Bessette, her maternal grandfather, William King and her son Edward Eddie Frye.

Diane donated her eyes so that someone else could have their site restored.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to benefit ABATE of Gillette, Wyoming. Donations can be sent in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonandsons.com.

A Special special thanks to all who gave of their time and help in caring for Diane.
