Dianna “Jeanne” Beaman, age 80, passed away unexpectedly, March 24, 2024, at her home on the ranch.
Jeanne was born December 23, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to her parents were David Mitzkus and Mary (Schurman) Mitzkus.
She was a lady who carried the voice of angels! A woman who loved God with all of her heart. A woman who, even if she didn’t have enough to give, still found a way to give. She wrote letters like she was talking to you in person. She made the best meals from scratch. And did we mention, she literally had the sweetest voice!
Jeanne loved her home in the country, always referring to it as “God’s Country”. She loved her wild flowers and birds.
Jeanne was a wonderful neighbor. She loved to help with branding meals and was famous for her biscuits. She would happily ride along and keep you company whenever a parts run was needed. She loved all the little children that came to see her. And She loved to laugh.
Jeanne was very involved in her church. She enjoyed singing on the worship team and attending a Bible study with a group of women each fall. She loved her visits with her friends at senior meal each week. She volunteered at St. Vincent and made baby quilts for all the new local babies. She also sewed and tied many a quilt as she enjoyed being involved in quilt club at the church.
Jeanne is survived by her children Jim Beaman (Marci) Illinois, J Beaman Georgia, Jan Snow (John ) Michigan, sisters Sandie and Barb, brother Jim, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Jim and her daughter Janette Renee.
A memorial service will be held May 11, 2024 11:00 am at Faith Bible Church. Luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to St. Vincent’s or the Senior Center in Broadus.
