Dixie Lynn Leatherberry, age 44, of Miles City, passed away on August 30, 2019 at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City.
Dixie was born on February 13, 1975 to Alfred and Maxine Leatherberry. Three years later she was joined by little brother Leroy.
Dixie spent her young life at home on the ranch. She went to grade school at Garland School on the Tongue River. She went to High School at Custer County High in Miles City, and graduated in 1993.
After high school she stayed in Miles City and worked for Pizza Hut. Later she worked for DEAP and really enjoyed it.
Dixie had a lot of cousins she dearly loved. She was very close to cousins Travis and Chad Lund. Dixie loved to socialize with a lot of her friends.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents Maxine and Al Leatherberry, her grandparents and aunts; Debbie and Doreen, uncles; Carl and Claude. She is survived by her brother; Leroy, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; Farron and Linda Carlson, Raymond and Robin Leatherberry, aunt Vera Leatherberry and Carol and Errol Matzke.
Dixie loved all cats, especially Snuggle Bunny.
If desired, memorials may be made to the charities of one’s choice.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Custer County Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be sent by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.

There’s only one thing Dixie said she loved more than getting her hair done and that was she loved Jesus. We prayed together many times after she had been saved years ago!
She expressed a lot that she wanted her family & friends to be saved & know Him like she did, because friendship was everything to her,& she wanted to be with them again in heaven. Her favorite verse was John 3;16.
