Doncella Killsnight Bearcomesout

06/16/55 – 04/03/16

Doncella Killsnight Bearcomesout, Ma’hahko’a’e, (Badger Woman), was born June 16, 1955 to Avon Killsnight and Nellie Norse in Crow Agency, MT.  Doncella was raised by her grandmother, Carrie Hollowbreast and received her Indian name from  June Americanhorse.  She was raised in the Busby area and spent most of her life there.  She was raised with Lyman Wolfchief and they grew up together in the Busby area along with Earlene Teeth Clown, Norma Gourneau and Norma’s sisters.   She attended Northern Cheyenne Tribal School in Busby and after that went onto the LDS Program in Rexburg, Idaho.  Doncella worked for Busby School for a short time but preferred to be at home being a full time mom and grandmother.

She moved to Oklahoma with Darwin Killsontop, Acquanetta’s father but then moved back home to Busby.

Whenever she would come back to Busby, she would stay with Earlene Clown and her children and raised Stewart Clown and was very close to him.  She shared a room with Stewart whenever she was at Earlene’s residence but also shared a connection with Earlene’s other two children, Tia and Larry.  Doncella also had a special relationship and bond with Dean Blackwolf.

Lucas and Louis Killsnight had also spent a lot of time with Doncella.  Lucas had been living with Doncella at the Shoulderblade Complex at the time of her death.  He would go get her lunch and do whatever business Doncella needed done.

Doncella was a Chief Child as the Killsnight’s were hereditary chiefs.

Doncella is preceded in death by her sons Patrick and Donnie Amyotte, her parents, Avon Killsnight and Nellie Norse, husband Anthony Bearcomesout, sister, Edna (Pickles) Killsnight, Aunt, Evelyn Killsnight, Uncles, Louis Killsnight Sr. and Martin Killsnight.

Survivors include her children, Acquanetta Killsnight, Joseph Simpson and Patrice Limpy, her sister, Lillian (Daniel) Big Man, adopted brother, Lyman Wolfchief, Reginald Killsnight Sr., adopted sisters, Norma Gourneau, Quintina Hawk, Martha, Mary and Hannah Bearquiver and Earlene Clown.  Uncle Roger (Mabel) Killsnight Sr., Ethylene Charley, Aunt.   Nieces and nephews, Brandi and Shalene, Frank, Jeremy, Reasco and Randall Killsnight, Julie Rogers, Lucas and Louis Killsnight, grandchildren, Clayton Francis Limpy, Cierra AshLea Rogers, Ashley Rose Rogers, Jarryn Simpson and Chance Butler, and her special friend Bonnie Littlesun.

If we forgot to mention anybody’s name, please forgive us as we are going through a difficult time with the tragic loss of our sister, mother and friend Doncella.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Billings Clinic and at Parkview Convalescent Center.

My sincere condolences to the family of Doncella. I always had a good time visiting you even if it was just a few minutes and I’m going to miss your jokes & laughter. I said to you many times, how much I appreciate you taking my son into your home, I knew he would be well cared for by you. The good Lord said, Doncella it’s time to come home where there is no more pain, where the streets are paved with gold and the rose’s never fad.
