Donna Kay Schipman, age 63, gained her angel wings on May 6, 2023, at the Sunflower Garden Assited Living Home in Roundup, Montana. Donna was born in Lewistown, Mt., but spent most of her life in the Billings area where she participated in Special Olympics and won many medals. She was very proud of them. One of the medals was presented to her by a member of the Kennedy family.
Donna loved a cold Pepsi or Mountain Dew while dancing to the 50’s music. She also loved animals (especially her cats), playing pool, watching John Wayne movies, bingo and an occasional trip to the casino. She had an amazing sense of humor and always made us laugh. She was special in so many ways and we will always carry her memory in our hearts.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle & Gladys Schipman. She is survived by her sisters, Hazel (Terry) Hodges, Pam Beardsley; her brothers Stewart (Marie) Schipman, Gordie (Jan) Schipman and many nieces, nephews and extended family whom she loved and adored.
A special thanks to Compassus Hospice Care and the amazing people at the Sunflower Garden Assistedliving facility for your dedication and all the love you gave our sister.
The family plans a private celebration of her life at a later date.
