Donna Lea Worrell, age 78, of Broadus passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Powder River Manor in Broadus.

Donna was born on March 22, 1933 in Menomonie, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harold and Sally (Schwede) Apel. Donna grew up and attended school in Wisconsin and graduated from high school in 1952. She met and married Virgil Bud Worrell on October 3, 1953 in Hudson, Wisconsin. Bud and Donna remained in Hudson, Wisconsin for many years until they moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming. After the children were raised, Donna and Bud moved to Denver, Colorado. In August of 1994, they moved to Gillette, Wyoming after he retired. In June of 2008 they moved to Broadus, Montana where she remained until the time of her death. Donna enjoyed cooking and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Donna is survived by her husband Virgil Bud Worrell of Broadus, MT; a son, Gregory (Deborah) Worrell of Cushing, WI; three daughters: Jodi (Ster) Thrush of Gillette, WY; Beth Van Oss of Denver, CO; and Cynthia Pomroy of Cheyenne, WY; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Alan and Harold.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus. A memorial service will be held at the Powder River Manor Nursing Home on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Broadus is in charge of the arrangements.
