In Memory Of

Dorian Pongah, age 29, of Lame Deer

January 5, 1995 – May 16, 2024

A’nȧxeve “Bells” born on January 5th, 1995. Was born to Kirsten Pongah and Cory Wolfname, A’nȧxeve was taken home by the Lord Jesus  on May 16th 2024. Dorian was enrolled Northern Cheyenne Tribe. Dorian, Dorian as those close to him called him, was a very intelligent, loving individual, was ready for anything and drive anywhere, always like to hang with his friends. Dorian was loved by all who walked into his life. Dorian was a well-mannered young man. He was always willing to help where and when needed. He spent a majority of his time with his siblings at the family home. Dorian like doing the Rez Brawls, he was a boiler maker, he liked hunting, fishing, and going to the Bighorns getting teepee poles.

Dorian was preceded in death by Paternal Great grandfather Strane Dives Backwards, Grandpa James Mann, Cousin Kymani Littlebird, Hanna Harris, Rita Torres, uncle Phillip Bighawk. Auntie Teisha Bigback.

Dorian was survived by his mother Kirsten Pongah, dad Cory Wolfname, Brice Harris Sr that took him as his son. Grandma Rosella Pongah, Adopted Mom Annette (Tiger) Scalpcane, Marty Barrus, Siblings Stephanie, Raymond, Brice Jr aka (Moose) Harris, Mianna and Korilynn, Corry Jr, Calvin. Uncles is D’wayne, Darren, Richard, Douglas (Fenzo) Bixby, Elwin (Emma) Pongah Jr, Robert Bighawk, Fred (Shiressa) Mann. Aunties Nancy (Ernest), Telisa Pongah, Cousins Ian Bixby, King (Clara), Cheyland, Rockson, Ammahgah(Nancy), Rocco, Larry, Colista, Mackenzie, Reneka, Shaneka (Thomas), Brittany Bixby, Douglynn, Renez (David), Emmy, Elisha, Sophia(Caleb), Elwin III, Isabell, Ellis, Elijah, Rosella, Joaquin(Cedar), Jennifer, Destiny,Camille, Shane, James, Arissa, Spur Roundstone and Haden. Clara Harris and family.   Numerous Nieces and Nephew to many to mention, we have a large family and we apologize if we left anybody out.

    My condolences go out to Kristen & family especially my niece & nephews Steph, Raymond & Moose (Brice Jr). This is such a shock unexpected losing a son & brother. Prayers to the Pongah family for comfort during this time & days to come. Prayers for his friends who loved him like a brother. I’m so sorry Kristen, my heart goes out to you. It’s so hard to lose a child 😭

    I remember him as a baby and growing up. Always such a gentle soul. His presence will be missed. Kirsten and family I am so sorry for your loss. He is reunited with his loved ones and ancestors now, Back to the Stars he goes.
