Doris A. Kraus, age 71, of Rosebud

November 24, 1943 – August 18, 2015

Doris Ann Kraus passed away August 18, 2015 at age 71.  She was born November 24th 1943 to Ed and Deloris Kraus of Rosebud MT.  She grew up in Rosebud, Mt and worked at Joseph Café.  She then had a son and named him Randy.  Later on Doris married Gerald Mendenhall with a readymade family of six kids: Jerry, David, Debbie, Brenda, Marty and Theresa.  Then to this union Jim and Kristy were born.  Doris Ann ran the mail route then later divorced Gerald.

Afterwards Doris Ann chose a different and job working at Far West, then the Speedway Diner.  Even between her busy work schedule and raising a family, she still found time to do the things she loved.  She loved to garden, raise her chickens, and her cats.  Doris loved to visit with everyone and made many friends, never forgetting a face.  She is survived by her grandkids: Misty of Ray, ND, Kari Ann, Randy, Kobe, Kami; her Great Grandchildren: Aja, Buck, Willie; Cousins: Bart and Connie Kraus, Pam and Joe Ash, Cathy and Dwaine Morris; and numerous of nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed by all.
