I remember Aunt Doris fondly from our years in Jordan in the late 70s. She was kind, loving, and jovial. She made the most beautiful quilts, and she was generous. I remember her always with a smile or laughing. She was really creative , and would bring the most beautiful handmade craft holiday decorations to our home for Christmas and other holidays. The crafts she shared were magical to a young kid like me, intricate, sparkly and smelling of cloves or cinnamon. Im grateful for the years I got to know her. We love you, Aunt Doris

John and family,
My sincere sympathy to all of you. May you hold all the special memories you shared with her close to your hearts. May the love she shared with you comfort you in the days ahead.
I remember taking Dad, Aunt Anna May, and Uncle Lynn to visit Uncle Harley and Aunt Doris. Aunt Doris took me down to see her quilting room – it was amazing and her generosity in making and donating quilts was such a gift to so many.
I will not be able to be with you Saturday but my thoughts and prayers will surround you.

Sending our sincere condolences to you and your family. She is now at peace with the Lord she followed so graciously, and I am sure she has her sewing machine and fabric to comfort her.

Doris and her sister Ethel Lee were some of my first playmates. Gladys & Buster were neighbors & family friends. Doris & I grew up with Brandings, rodeos, Mizpah 4-H Club & riding the new yellow school bus to the brand new High School in Broadus. Doris & I attended Camp Needmore 4-H camp in Ekalaka at age 10, our first time away from home. Our families spent a week at Ennis Lake together. The wagon train from Broadus to Miles City was a special event. Buster had a 6 horse team & wagons. Doris her Mom & sister had wonderful outfit for thr parade. I have had phone calls in the last few years with Doris. I will miss her. Her laugh & smile. I still have some notecards she made years ago. Until we meet again my friend.
