Elisabeth Jessop Woodfield says
My granny lived a beautiful life. She is always happy and always thinking of others. She is also the most stylish woman I know. I am so grateful to know families are forever.
Grace Hanson Hines says
My ’51 classmate, the always upbeat Dorie Burt; now you are in a better place. Condolances to her family. Yes, even in her last years she was still cute as a bugs ear and always had a ‘Hi yah’ kid’ for me….now she is ‘Hi ya’ing the angels!
Peggy West says
What a beautiful lady, inside and out. Rest in peace Dorie. You will be missed
Maureen O'Reilly says
Dorie was one of the great ones. Always smiling, always happy and good to everyone. I remember at one of class reunions (class of ’51) she even had Johnny Whitbeck out on the dance floor in his wheelchair. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Cindee Jessop says
Doris was always kind to me. I loved her positive energy and her “get-up-and-go” attitude. She loved my children and she was a wonderful grandmother to them. She had them call her Granny. I have great memories of Granny and I feel blessed to have been her daughter-in-law and to have her influence in my life. I know that my daughters now have another angel to watch over them from heaven.
Ana says
Dori was and always be a beautiful lady…and always a lady!!! Mary and all will miss her
J Johnson says
My sincere condolences to the family of Doris Taylor – I am sorry to hear of your loss. Even after a relatively long life, we naturally have the desire to continue to enjoy life because God put eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11). It was never the Creator’s purpose for us to suffer or die (Romans 5:12). The promise of Paradise, the perfect conditions God originally arranged for mankind in the Garden of Eden will be fulfilled including God’s “will being done as in Heaven also upon Earth” (Matthew 6:9, 10). The Bible promises a resurrection of dear family members and friends that we have lost (John 5:28, 29). I hope you are comforted by Bible promises of a hopeful future (John 17:3).
Patricia Jessop says
Doris was a stylish and gracious lady with a kind heart… It was a pleasure to have known her..
T. Kelly says
May the family find comfort in loving memories, and in knowing that God is “close to those that are broken at heart; and he saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, has promised to soon “swallow up death forever…and wipe the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) With deepest sympathy.
Bonnie Manicke says
Dorie was an acquaintance in the Flathead. She possessed an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. I admired her style and zest for life. Heaven gained a very special lady. Peace be with her family.
