I am sorry to hear of Dorthys’ passing. She was a great lady, I remember her most when she would come out to see Grandma Laura and I enjoyed visiting with her and then when she moved to the manor. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love Kelly

My Grandma, one of my heros, whom I loved dearly and am so thankful for the Godly influence and example she was to me. I would love to be able to come home for the funeral but don’t believe I will be able to, but my heart will be there.

I only got to know Mrs Dorothy in her later years, but what a gem of a lady she was with her lovely sense of humor, and obvious love and commitment to her Savior. I know she’ll be dearly missed until that great reunion in heaven.

Our sincere condolences go out to the Eaton/Schiller/Rooney families. We didn’t know Mrs. Eaton as well as the rest of the family, but did know that she was a fine Christian lady. Looking forward to seeing her again in Heaven. Our prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. May “the God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God’s Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.

    April 21, 2012 at 4:50 pm

    Dear Jan, Vera, and Joyce,
As I have reflected on your mother’s passing, something significant came to mind. When we were in church together and had opportunity to share a favorite Bible verse, your mother always quoted this one from John’s Gospel, chapter 5, verse 24. The Lord Jesus told his disciples: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” That verse brought your mother a lot of comfort. May it comfort you at this time, too.
