In Memory Of

Dorothy Limpp, age 85, of Miles City.

October 16, 1932 – November 1, 2017

On November 1, 2017, Dorothy Marie Limpp, age 85, of Miles City danced her way to heaven.

Dorothy was born on October 16, 1932 in Belle City Missouri to Noble and Alta Bronnenberg. She grew up in a loving family with 5 siblings, including her life-long soul mate, her twin sister Gonda. Dorothy married Leroy Mackey in 1951 and they had two children, Herb and Randy. After their union dissolved, Dorothy married Jack Limpp on August 8, 1959. Together they added a daughter Shelly to their family.

Dorothy was lovingly referred to by most of her family and friends as Dot. She loved to sing and dance. As a young adult she sang in a band called the Rhythm Rascals and her favorite song was “Moon River”. Dorothy had a passion for the ocean and enjoyed fishing, gardening and she was an amazing cook.

Dorothy is survived by siblings: Norma (Larry) Putney, Donna Downing and Ben Bronnenberg; her children: Herb (Pat) Mackey, Randy (Susie) Mackey, and Shelly (Mike) Wierzbinski, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Jack Limpp, her twin sister Gonda Anderson, and her brother Charles Bronnenberg. She led a full and happy life and now she is home.

    Herb and family,
so sorry for your loss! Dottie was such an Amazing woman. It was such an honor to have gotten to know her over these last 3+ years at TLC. I always looked forward to our late night talks and her volunteering to be the taste tester for whatever desserts I might be making. I will miss her dearly! TLC just won’t be the same without her.
Rest in peace my Dottie-Dear, love always your Tillie!

    Herb and Family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. Though I haven’t worked that long at TLC I found Dottie was a very special lady. I so enjoyed my visits with her, Her eyes just twinkled during our special laughs and times together. She truly cared for those of us who cared for her, and I loved her reactions to my fluffy omelets she liked me to make for her. I cherish the special talks we had. She is going to be missed by many of us. Wishing all of you peace at this sad time. She is at peace , out of pain, and with her Lord. Rest in Peace Dottie. Margo

Herb, Randy & Shelly, my heartfelt condolences in the loss of your Mom.
Dottie was a lifelong friend of my Mom (Grace Green) even though they had lost touch the last few years. We lost Mom exactly 1 year ago. We often talked about “Sara’s (my daughter) friend Dottie”. Once Sara (at 2 years of age) met Dottie, she always referred to her as my friend Dottie and asked often for Mom to take her out for a visit to the house on Blue Creek.
My memories of your mom was warm, welcoming & loving and she was a presence in my life from the time we were all very young. I fondly have a faint memory of going to your Grama’s house many years ago.
    Hugs.
    Grace aka Fweety

I’m so sorry for your loss, Dottie was such a special lady. I have such happy warm memories of her from when I was little. Mostly of picking as many strawberries as I wanted and then eating as many as I could! And she gave the best cuddles. My love to you all.
    Sara (Fweety’s daughter, Grace’s granddaughter)
