My heartfelt sympathies to all of Dorothy’s family. She was such a nice person, and I was fortunate to have her make many cakes for my boys when they were smaller.
God bless you all at this difficult time.
Pastor Bruce K. Oyen and Loann says
Dear family of Dorothy,
Loann and I are sad to hear of Dorothy’s passing. As you know, we got to know Bud and Dorothy pretty well when I was the pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, which they attended regularly. They were always very warm and cheerful , even when their health was poor. We spent many hours in their home, and they in ours. We shared many laughs, tears, and prayers together when they suffered from health problems. One humorous memory I have is of being at their house when Dorothy was shaving Bud with an electric razor. I told her to not push hard on it, but to glide it gently over his face. She said that was good to know, and she said it might have been the reason he would seem to be in pain when she shaved him. We will remember them as dedicated Christians, and very thoughful of others. We are sorry we are not able to be at Dorothy’s funeral. May God bless all of you.
Fran Mengel and family says
Our loving thoughts and prayers are with Dorothy’s family today. Shedding tears over the “loss of Mom” is natural – so have a good cry! Because of her testimony, we know she is happy – in Heaven today – with her loving Saviour, Jesus Christ. That is reason for you to smile! God bless each one of you.

Dear family of Dorothy Arlene Madler – I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. May God give you peace and comfort through his sure promises to end pain, mourning and death (Revelation 21:4). At that time no one will say “I am sick” (Isaiah 33:24). Cherish all of your happy memories and I hope you are comforted by Bible promises (John 17:3).
Jerry and Jan Townsend says
Dear family of Dorothy: Cherish your memories and wrap them tightly around your hearts. When times are sad ~ remember Dorothy’s beautiful smile. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Terry Vaughn says
Mike, Donna, and Family: I’m so very sorry to hear of your Mom’s death. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and your mom will always be in your heart. Your many, many wonderful memories will get you through this difficult time and, as I have found, time does ‘soften’ our loss. Take care.
