Douglas Alan Harbac, 63, passed away June 16, 2019 in Bakersfield, CA at Bakersfield Community Hospice after an extended illness. Douglas, the son of Edsel O. and Agatha L. Following his graduation, he was employed for various intervals at Miles and Ulmer, J.C. Penny’s, Safeway, and Holiday Service Station. He furthered his education at Miles Community College, Eastern Montana College, Carroll College, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Finance from Montana State University in 1985. With diploma in hand, he moved to Bakersfield, CA anticipating using that degree employed with the California Lottery System, but found all of the advertised positions filled.
In his late teens, he had been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, which hindered his ability to follow through with any of his endeavors.
He is survived by his mother, two brothers: Greg of Bozeman, MT and Brian of Detroit, MI, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.
Services will be held at a later date. Memorials should be sent in his name to Sacred Heart School 519 N Center, Miles City, MT 59301
