I am really going to miss Doug. He was such a talented man. I am still in shock that Doug has passed and that I won’t be able to visit with him. There was nothing Doug couldn’t fix. Behind the gruff exterior lived a wonderful man. Sending condolences to his family and friends. Doug, you may no longer be here, but you will not be forgotten.

I have not seen Doug for awhile and was saddened to find out he has passed. I remember delivering Jobie recycling for his garden and seeing that big grin as he spoke enthusiastically about his plans. I remember that grin when he would deliver a big load of corn stalks for Jobie or leave huge beets for me. I remember laughing when we talked about how his dogs had him wrapped around their paws. I will always smile when I remember Doug and that grin. My heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends. We were all blessed to have known him. May you find comfort in your memories.

Doug’s quiet nature and mischievous grin will be remembered. As kids growing up he was usually the one leading the adventures, but he was also always looking out for us younger ones to make sure the adventure didn’t go too wrong. That kindness followed him throughout his life. He will be missed. Prayers and love to all of the family. From the Lee Family in Helena
