Visitation: will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
Graveside Military Service: will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eastern Montana Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
Duane Ennis Callen, age 64, died on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Advanced Care Hospital in Billings from complications due to a stroke.
Duane was born on May 9, 1946 in Miles City, Montana to parents Carroll Callen and Martha Mae Irion-Callen. He served in the military from November 1966 until October 1969, and was a sergeant in the Army, earning both a National Defense and Good Conduct medal. He worked for the Northern Railway in Montana and then for the city of Billings as a heavy equipment operator.
Duane lived a solitary life and is survived by his brother, Dean E. Callen of Boise, Idaho, and his sister, Delane Seese of Payette, Idaho.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. A graveside military service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eastern Montana Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
