Wellnitz Family,
I will treasure so many memories. So glad we were able to visit last summer.Fun memories out on the water. I will miss you. Just wanted to share my favorite poem.
I’m Free
Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone will stay that way,
I found that peace at close of day.
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I, too, will miss.
But not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life has been full, I’ve savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief,
Lift up you hearts and share with me,
God wanted me now,
He set me free. ~Author Unknow
Love you all

So sorry for your families loss. I have a lot of memories having lived with him and Marion for two years during high school. He was a good mechanic and I remember when he worked at the Chevy dealership. I always knew that if he looked at or worked on my car, it was in good hands and would be fixed right. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to the family of Duane. I enjoyed playing pool against Duane and the Vets down at the VFW. This makes two in recent past that have passed. I also enjoyed watching the pride that Duane had in grandson who joined him many times as his partner. Duane always did have a smile and a zest for life. He always had special twinkle in his eye when Marion was around and even when she was driving. Thanks for your service and enjoyed the time spent at the VFW.
