Earl Lynn Rip Repplinger was born January 4, 1927 in Baker, Montana to Nicholas and Edith (Wright) Repplinger.
Three children were born from this union, Ray (deceased) Buelah Lorentz and Lynn.Lynn served during WWII joining the AAF Army Air Forces on July 21, 1945. He was a construction machine operator with 1945th Engineer Aviation Utilities Co. Manila, Philippine Islands. He was also a crane operator. He received an honorable discharged January 24, 1947.Prior to entering the military, he was employed as a tractor operator by Fallon County, Baker, Montana for 3 years. Upon release from the AAF, he worked for several years as an over the road truck driver eventually becoming an owner/operator until his retirement in 2003.
On March 6, 1968 he married Chere M. (Swanson) Louquet in Helena, Montana. From a previous marriage he has a daughter, Susan (Larry) Houser. He also has four stepchildren, Cheryl Linderman, Darlene Florence, Rick Louquet and Vickie (Mike) Westervelt. He has several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Lynn was in death by his parents, Nicholas and Edith; a brother, Ray and stepson, Rick Louquet.
A private family burial will take place at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Harrison. Memorials may be sent in Lynns name to the Lewis and Clark Humane Society, PO Box 4455, Helena, MT 59604. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home.
