Thank you Ed for for taking care of Michael. You told me that you would watch out for him and you did. You were a friend to my California boy when he moved to Miles City and had no one. He knew he could count on you. You eased my aching heart and I knew that I could count on you also. Your were not only a friend to Michael but to us. Rob Shipley says
At the funeral this afternoon I sat there, quiet, and, not ashamed, because it is a House of GOD and none can be ashamed, but, I was moved that I hadn’t known Ed better over the years. I was in the Navy like he was, enlisted and grateful to serve. We should have fellowshipped so many times and did not; now, we can and will in Heaven. Wonderful man, truly wonderful, and will be sadly missed here for decades. “Ship”

Thoughts and prayers for Helen, Cheri and all the Marten family at this time of sadness. Ed, Im going to miss our visits and joking in our alley, from your shop to my shop… I was taking a picture of the sunrise the other morning and a Screech owl was ‘singing’. I thought of you. I know the owls are watching over you.
