We were so blessed to have dinner with Phyllis and Edith right after her 91st birthday. What a Grand Lady, often calling me her second daughter. She has been an inspiration “in the aging process” and I hope I can be as brave, lucid, stubborn and active as she when I’m 91. Our condolences and prayers to all you.

Chuck, Phyllis, Vern, and families:
We were saddened, of course, to hear of Edith’s passing ~ Had just seen a great picture of her on Facebook with the newest family baby, and she looked so good. We are happy for her, and all of you, though, that she died in a peaceful way and didn’t have to be moved from her long-time home, etc., for last years as so many do. Doug has SO MANY great memories of working and playing at the Pluhar’s! He talks of all the fun (and hard work) ~ and about Edith’s great cooking. She was a lovely lady – hard worker and prominent woman of that community. We send our sympathy and love…

My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Edith. I did not per s on ally know her. But from reading all the condolences from her family and friends, I wanted to briefly to mention she must have been a wonderful person, loving, kind and so hospitable, qualities we rarely see anymore. In this most difficult and distressing time, I hope your good and loving memories of her help to ease your pain. It can help us to know that she now safely rests in the loving memory of our Grand Creator. Sincerely
