Although difficult as it is, aloha to a beautiful lady. A lady who had moxie, spirit, heart, laughter, and beauty wrapped into one gigantic soul!!!! Yes Shane, she is dancing, and Dale waited patiently for her arrival on bended knee!!! Her ability to handle anything with class was definitely one of a kind, and her delicious pies also one of a kind!! I will remember many meals as a child at her house, and how I loved her Christmas decorations!! The angel hair held my eye for many hours, and the Christmas candy she offered was special indeed. She was certain to make sure I had the candy just when I wanted to touch that itchy hair!! And, yes, Jeremy, she has begun her next adventure, with many there to greet her. I’m sure she will have lots to catch up on, and smiling she is!! And, Roxy, she was a blessing to you as you were to her. You gave her some beautiful grand kids and great grand kids!! I believe Aloha is appropriate, because it is hello as well as good bye!! Aloha Edith!!!!!

When I expressed appreciation that your mother had come from the nursing home over to Mom’s funeral in August 2012, she said, “I wouldn’t have missed this for the world.” It was so good to see how well she was still getting around last Memorial Day in Circle when we celebrated her birthday and her upcoming move to Miles City. What a classy lady she always was. May God give you peace and comfort during this time of loss. Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:6

Dear family and friends of Edith M. Pawlowski – I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. May God give you peace and comfort through his sure Bible promises to end pain, mourning and death (Revelation 21:4). At that time no one will say “I am sick” (Isaiah 33:24). Almighty God also promises to fulfill our desires, not just our needs (Psalms 145:16). Cherish all the happy memories of Mrs. Pawlowski and it is hoped that you are comforted by Bible promises (John 17:3).

Grandma Edith, you have been a ray of sunshine to me and to so many. I have always loved your free spirit, generosity, thoughtfulness, and your laugh. I know when I was a little girl I would always look forward to your pink lipstick kisses so I could have pink lips myself! Through your independent nature I have continued to draw my strength. You supported me through my own health challenges, and I have so appreciated your unconditional love for me. I know you are my guardian angel together with grandpa. I love you! Your soul is free of an earthly body and just as impactful as ever! We are all so blessed by you! Love, Charity, Channing and Avalon

Forty years ago, I moved to Circle from St. Paul, and was hired by Dale at his insurance agency. One Friday afternoon he said, “You better call Mother and Geno and see if they want to go to the Vets’ Club for a bump!” That began a weekly ritual for the four of us, and was when I began calling Edith “Mother.” She was one of the warmest people I’d ever met, and was so very kind and welcoming to me. Our friendship endured all these years…through my four years in Circle, and through Gene’s and my move to Wisconsin. She was the main reason I visited Circle at least once a year. We were always welcome to spend a night at her home, which included great meals…and always my favorite, lemon meringue pie, for dessert. I was able to visit twice in the past year, and I treasure every moment spent with her. I am so glad I got to talk to her last Tuesday, when we got to say, “I love you,” one more time; and discuss the fact we’d see each other one day in Heaven. Janis and Donald, I am so sorry for your loss—but so happy for you that you had such a wonderful mom. She was one in a million, and we will all miss her very much. Gene and Christopher send their condolences…our thoughts are with you and your families.
Harv & Patrice Kountz says

Donnie & Janis, kiddos & grandbabies, Edith was such a classy, warm & witty lady. So many memories. I think she was our ‘chapter Mom’ in FHA. She always knew what was happening! She cared about everyone of the kids at school. Always a wonderful smile with her warmest of greetings. She will be missed, but Edith is where we all hope to be someday. God Bless all of you.
