I remember driving from Killdeer to Miles City, Montana to attend Uncle Jim’s wedding. It was the first time I had ever been to Montana. I remember having Aunt E.J. as a sub for a few of my classes in Killdeer. She was a good teacher and was very nice to her niece. When Jim had his stroke they moved to Miles City. We went one time as a family to visit Uncle Jim in the nursing home. I remember Aunt E.J. brought him a banana because it was easy for him to eat. She very lovingly helped him eat it. I remember she always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed but we all have wonderful memories of her to hold onto.
