Edwin had 96 great years. He and Darlene raised a great family. I became part of the Thomas/Rogge family when I married .Darlene’s youngest brother Earl (Punk). It was always a fun bunch to be part of. He will be missed, but just imagine the music and fun that is going on in Heaven. I felt blessed to be a part of such a good family.

Wes, Ronda & Family, Carla, Jim & Family, Darla, Doug & Family, Dean, Tanna & Family & Jean, Greg & Family ~ it is hard to go through the loss of a Dad/Father – in – Law/Grandpa. However, I remember the twinkle in his eyes, the warmth that came over his face and the pride that shined when he looked at each of you. Wes, Ronda & Boys, I know you guys feel an emptiness that has left a huge hole in your hearts. This is just something that we are never ready for no matter the situation. We hope the hole in your hearts can mend with time. Hold onto those happy memories. Lots of love to you.

    To the Edwin Rogge Family,
Condolences to you in this season of mourning. Edwin was a quiet, gentle individual embodying ambition, skill, motivation, and pleasantries. He lived a full life, yet quietly personified color in the community. He availed himself to many folks since an early age, whether it was a ditch to dig, an elevator to modify, mail to deliver, equipment to repair, or music to dance to. His willingness to “bend a rule” to deliver groceries to the outlying mail patrons was an example of him exhibiting compassion and service, though in reality made his job more difficult.
Edwin lived a legacy to be proud of. He will not be forgotten.
