Dear family of Effie, I am grateful to have known her at Ashland Public just a little. She and I shared the enjoyment of a hot cup of coffee from time to time. I liked watching her with the students, and I appreciated that she hardly ever complained, except when the room was too cold, but she thanked me a lot if I had the space heater on for her! It’s much better now and I wish we had been able to be together again at school. She told me of sorrows in her life, but always seemed to accept things as what the Lord had for her, and I know she leaned on Him for everything. I rejoice to think of her and Paul face to face with Jesus now and look forward to seeing her again someday! I am sorry for your loss and pray that God gives you His peace and comfort.
