Eilleen Mae Viola Hause (Garrison) won her battle against cancer Tuesday 22 July 2008, in her home south of Forsyth Montana surrounded by friends and family.
Eilleen was born 3 April 1954 in Greeley Colorado the youngest of five children born to A.C. and Edna J. Garrison. She attended school in Johnstown and Greeley Colorado, graduating from Greeley Central High School in 1971 and going on to attend Aims Community College and the Jone's School of Business where she studied business management and real estate law.Eilleen an accomplished horsewoman participating in local horse shows and the Womens Rodeo Association. Married on 5 May 1973 to Terry Hause of Kersey, Colorado, the union was blessed with one child Jarod Coulter.Her love of the traditional values of homemaking was displayed in her housekeeping, canning, and sewing skills and in finding time to support youth equine events including 20 years as a 4-H leader.
After marriage the family moved to Big Springs Nebraska, Vail Colorado and Cheyenne Wyoming returning to Greeley in 1980 where they built several homes and lived until 2001 when they moved to Forsyth Montana. Eilleen was a partner in the Quilt Zone fabric and phone store, active in the Piecemakers Quilt Guild and supporting local youth events. Eilleen was a member of the Grace Bible Church focusing her efforts on the summer youth camp activities. Her life was centered around her faith her family and her friends.
She is survived by her husband Terry of Forsyth their sons family Jarod and Dr. Kelly Hause parents of Hallie and Riley of Fargo North Dakota, her brother Gary Garrison of Longmont, Colorado, sister-in-law Ann Garrison of Rosewell, New Mexico, and her family in Christ.
Eilleen has requested her memory be recognized by gifts to Summer Youth Camp Fund at Grace Bible Church care of Ray Lincoln.
