Visitation: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.

Elaine Rae Forman, age 74, of Miles City passed away on Friday, October 1, 2004 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.

Elaine was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota on January 3, 1930, the daughter of Arthur and Sarah Jane (LaRue) Linendoll. She attended schools in Devils Lake, North Dakota then moved to San Diego for a short time before returning to Devils Lake where she graduated from high school in 1947. Elaine met and later married Ralph Forman on June 17, 1951, in Miles City, Montana. They made their home in Miles City where Elaine and Ralph operated the Miles City Dairy for over 20 years. After retiring, they enjoyed spending many winters in Arizona. Elaine loved crocheting, making Christmas goodies, and babysitting her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family.

Elaine is survived by her husband Ralph Forman of Miles City, MT; three sons: Mark Forman and his wife Lavonne of Knowlton, MT; Jim Forman and his wife Marilynn of Miles City, MT; and Jerry Forman and his wife Elaine of Miles City, MT; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Betty Riffe and Janet Sullivan.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow at a later date.
