Heskovtse, Eldon Wesley Sandcrane 38, was born April 29th,1981. Named after the late Frankie Sooktis (Heskovtse). He grew up in Birney along with all the Birney Boys. He was raised by his Grandparents Joe & Nancy Sandcrane. He attended Kids at Work Headstart, St.Labre until High School transferring to Lawrence, Kansas and graduating from Lame Deer as a Morning Star in 2000. Continuing his education at Chief Dull Knife College.
After high school he was employed at various places. He was a bus monitor and teacher-aide for the Northern Cheyenne Headstart. Security guard for the I.H.S. and Cook for the Charging Horse Casino.
He met Karlina Talawyma and from this they had 3 children, Trishelle, Heskovtse, and Leila Sandcrane. He named his son and carried on his Indian name. He was an excellent Father by raising his kids by himself. Making sure they were always cared for. He would go above and beyond for them. The bond they shared was unbreakable. He loved them to the fullest.
In his younger years he played first base for the Birney Regulators aka Arrows, winning all the games. He enjoyed horseback riding, drawing, hunting, fishing, camping, swimming at sist stones and cruising the backroads. He was a great Uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Always opening his home to his many friends over the years. He loved teasing and making everyone Laugh. Enjoyed Cheech and Chong movies. He was a great cook making his favorite dishes for his kids everyday. He took great pride in watching his nephews Keyshawn, Draven and Tyren play basketball along with his oldest Daughter Trishelle.
Eldon is survived by his parents: Mother Patty Sandcrane and Father Adam Medicine Top, siblings: Brothers Sheldon(Michelle)Sandcrane, Charlie(Carolyn)Oldman, Ace(Patricia)LittleMouth, Kash, Joseph LaRance, Del, Daniel, & Tuff Medicine Top. Sisters Shawntay(Shawn)Oldman, Darcy LittleMouth, September(Simon)Walksalong, Libby(Berry)Webster, Jennifer Googles, adopted Sisters Racheal, Karen, Ester, Tia LaRance, Arleta, Cholanda,Sherhea & Toya Medicine Top. Aunts Dolly(Ernest) LittleMouth, Elizabeth(Floyd), Hiwalker & Mary Grace Medicine Top. Uncles Alex(Cassandra)Sandcrane, Dayton Redneck, Tyrone(Sonia) Bearchum
Preceeded in Death: GrandParents Joe & Nancy Sandcrane, Freda Standing Elk, Clarence & Agnes Medicine Top, adopted Dad Chris LaRance, Siblings Forrest Oldman, Preston LittleMouth, Ernestine LittleMouth, Nancy Jean Washington & Neice Shetae Sandcrane. Family includes Sandcranes, Little Mouth, Oldman, Standing Elks, Rednecks, Strange Owl, Running Wolf, Big Back, Night Walkers, Walks Along,Rockroads, Medicine Top, Fighting Bears, Bearchums, Talawymas, Pines, Bryants, Elk Shoulders. Our Family is very large, sorry if we have missed any.
