Eleanor J. Prell, age 73, of Forsyth passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at the Rosebud Health Care Center in Forsyth.
Eleanor was born the daughter of Millard Fay and Sarah Pauline (Cox) Coates, on March 12, 1930 in Sutherland, NE. She grew up and was educated in the Sutherland area, graduating from High School in 1949. Following Eleanors schooling, she remained in Sutherland where she married Bob Goedert in 1950. To this marriage, her four daughters were born. She later married Lyle Prell in Sutherland, NE on September 23, 1965. Together, they made their home in Sutherland. Eleanor then worked as the Deputy Clerk of District Court in Lincoln County, while they lived in North Platte. Following Lyles retirement they moved to Story, Wyoming and later to Forsyth, MT where she resided until the time of her death. Eleanor was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed dancing, browsing through antiques, hunting and fishing with Lyle as well as being with her family and grandchildren.
Eleanor is survived by her four daughters Cynthia Kelly and her husband Mike of Sutherland, NE, DiAnn Kolkman and her husband Rick of North Platte, NE, Sally VanHemelryck and her husband Martin of Hysham, MT and Larren Frye and her husband Mike of North Platte, NE her son Casey Prell and his wife Marla of Miles City, MT and thirteen grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Dora Ann McConnell and her husband Lynn, Myrl Faye Jochum and her husband Walt, Barbara Murray and her husband Elwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lyle and one sister Pauline Kalloff.
