In Memory Of

Elizabeth “Betty” Rolston, age 62, of Forsyth

December 22, 1952 – September 23, 2015

Betty Kay Rolston, age 62, of Forsyth passed away at Rosebud Health Care Center after a courageous, but short, battle with cancer.

Betty was born Elizabeth Kay Lehman on December 22, 1952 in Forsyth, MT to Clyde and Katy (Stricker) Lehman. She was a graduate of the Forsyth Class of 1971 and a lifelong member of the Forsyth Community. Betty put her talents to work in various jobs, including being a waitress at the Joseph Café, secretary for Forsyth High School, office manager for Stokke Chiropractic, and finally a bookkeeper for Van’s IGA.

On October 27, 1974, Betty married Brian Rolston. They were blessed in 1978 with the birth of their son Bradley Jadan. Their grandson Bonum, has been a joy in their lives since he was born in 2005.

Betty “Gma Boop” was a kind and giving person who generously gave of her time and heart to anyone that needed her. She enjoyed golf and loved to play cards and bowl. She donated her time for over 30 years as Secretary/Treasurer of both the Women’s Bowling League and the Ladies Country Club. Betty was also very talented with ceramics, and her beautiful creations will be treasured always. Her greatest joy was spending time with her son, grandson, family and friends.

Betty was preceded in death and will be welcomed to Heaven by her parents, Clyde and Katy, and her son Bradley.

Betty is survived by her husband Brian; grandson Bonum; sisters: Janeen (Steve) McFarland, Karen Lehman; Laurie (Bill) Neumiller; brothers: George (Jaqi) Lehman, and Jim Lehman (Jen); she also has several nephews and nieces, and their families, whom she dearly loved; and her sisters by heart are Punky Zastoupil and Teresa Fink.

We lost a wonderful wife, grandma, sister and friend to many.

Betty, you’ve always taken care of others and we know that you’ll be watching over us now. We love you so much and we’ll miss you always.

Thank you to the Rosebud Health Care Center for your care, professionalism, compassion, and kindness shown to Betty and her loved ones during the final days of her battle. God bless you!
