age 90, of Frazer, MT passed away November 10, 2010 at the Trinity Hospital
in Wolf Point, MT.
Elizabeth was born September 27, 1920, daughter of George Teichroew and Agnes Olfert. She attended grade school at the Grandview School and graduated from Frazer High School in 1940.
On May 27, 1949, Elizabeth married Walter P. Pankratz, to this union came six sons, Marvin, Larry, James, David, Donald and Kenneth.
Elizabeth attended the Bethel Church and later at the EMB Church in Lustre, where she was active in Ladies Aid, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday school. She also enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking.
She is survived by her six sons, Marvin (Colleen) Pankratz of Glasgow, MT, Larry & Colleen Pankratz of Opheim, MT, James (Grace) Pankratz of Opheim, David (Donna) Pankratz of Lustre, Donald Pankratz (special friend, Laurie) of Lustre and Kenneth Pankratz (Lori) of Opheim; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren;brother, Abe (Ethel) Teichroew of Minneapolis, MN; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Teichroew of Glasgow, MT and Martha Teichroew of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; three brothers, Albert, Pete and Jake Teichroew; and sister, Nettie Teichroew.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 15, at the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church Lustre, MT. Interment will follow at the Bethel Lustre Cemetery in Lustre.
