Ella N. Taylor, 87, left her life on earth to be with her Lord on March 24, 2011.
She was born May 22, 1923 at Homestead, MT. Her parents were Ingaman and Lydia Jensen. The family moved to the Bredette Communitywhere Ella attended school, grades 1-8. She attended High School at Scobey, MT. She was raised in a Christian home, baptized and confirmed in Bredette.Ella married Charles J. Taylor on May 24, 1942. They lived and farmed in the Benrud Community until Charles death Oct. 25, 1967. They had 7 children. Ella and her children moved into Wolf Point. Ella was a loving and loved lady. She raised her children and unofficial children with much love and care.
She was a loyal friend and caregiver, and was kind and generous. Ella moved to Billings in 2005 to be close to family. She was an active member of the First Lutheran Church, was a 4-H leader for 21 years, belonged to Christian Womens Club, church circles, Cowbells, and Montana Cattle Women. Ella worked at Faith Lutheran Home and later did Home Care Nursing for many people in the community-work she loved.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Taylor, October 25, 1967 and son George E. Taylor, Feb. 24, 1960.
She is survived by her children: Sons, Dave (Jeanette) Taylor of Scottsdale, AZ, Greg (Beth) Taylor of Deer Park, WA, Jeff Taylor of Spokane, WA, Steve (Sue) Taylor of Clancy, MT.; Daughters Sue (Jim) Dolezal of Florence, MT, and Elaine Giltner of Otis, OR; Sisters, Anna, Esther and Darlene; Brother, Peter; and numerous nieces and nephews who were loved very much. Ella was blessed with 14 grandchildren: Liane, Rod, Mark, James, Heather, Heidi, Katie, Jennifer, Charles, Trisha, Blake, Lindsay, Nick, Marya, and 16 great grandchildren.; Elizabeth, Matthew, Jack, Max, Aliyah, Maya, Sam, Ella, Norah, Kiesha, Keigan, Morgan, Brittney, Donovan, Greer, and Lauren.
Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Wolf Point. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 29 from 2-8 p.m. at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point.Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church.
