Elvira Steiner Marang, age 82, of Miles City passed away on Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City.
Elvira was born on April 19, 1925 in Richardton, North Dakota, the daughter of Ray R. and Andalena (Schaaf) Amann. The family homesteaded in Richardton and Elvira attended schools there. She married Bill Steiner and later moved to Miles City where she has lived all her life.
Elvira was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles, VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed dressing up and having her hair done each week. She also enjoyed going out to eat and visiting her friends and going to church at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She wanted to especially thank Holy Rosary Extended Care for her special care for the last seven years.
Elvira is survived by two sons: David (Lynn) Steiner of Billings, MT; Dennis Steiner of Billings, MT; two daughters: Carol (Patrick) Smith of Billings, MT; Angie (Clinton) Cook of Billings, MT; a brother, Ray Amann of Richardton, ND; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 10:45 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Hospital Chapel. Interment will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family by visitingwww.stevensonandsons.com.
