A prayer service was held Monday January 3, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette.

Emily Hibner, age 89, died January 3, 2005, at her home in Gillette, Wyoming of natural causes.

Upon her request a private family prayer service was held on Monday, January 3, 2005 at the Stevenson Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette, Wyoming with Father Peter Auer of Saint Matthews Catholic Church as celebrant. Burial will take place at a later date in Stanislaus Cemetery in Cheektowaga, New York.

Emily E. Hibner was born July 29, 1915, the daughter of Michael and Frances (Makowska) Majewicz in Buffalo, New York.

Mrs. Hibner is survived by a daughter, Emily M. (Robert) Mentley of Gillette, Wyoming; a son, Stanley F. Bett of West Seneca, New York; a sister, Alice Zamborowski of Buffalo, New York; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Raymond Hibner.
