Emma was born on March 16, 1941 to August and Mary Belle (Allen) Baugatz in Miles City Montana. She attended school in Mile City and later worked at the Red Rock Supper Club. Emma then married Ralph Bartsch and became a homemaker to raise her family. She enjoyed being home with her 3 children and taking care of her family. Emma´s husband Ralph sadly passed away in Oct of 2000 in their home. Emma had a great sprite and joyful presence. She enjoyed the time she had with those close to her and will forever be missed by many.
Emma is survived by her daughters: Emmalou (Allan) Parker of Miles City, Jeanie (Ken) Thueringer of Miles City and Emily Bartsch of Sheridan, OR; her brother: John (Louise) Baugatz of Miles City and 2 grandchildren: Timothy and Nicole Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph and four sisters: Martha Baugatz, Viola Stemochuck, Dorothy Kochel and Alice Brown; two nieces and four nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 8:00am to 5:00pm at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City MT. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 2:00pm at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home, Miles City MT. Interment will follow services at the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
