They kept it real clean and it was a joy to go into the store and the library. I liked visiting your mother when she lived across the hall from my mom at the Villa. I used to see Emma when I’d come to see my Grandma, Dorothy Eaton, at Friendship Villa. Emma was always reading a book and she was so serene and positive. I admired her so much and my thoughts are with her family and friends.

I remember so long ago when Bernard and Emma were first married and living in the labor house across the road from the school house. I was in the 8th grade and would watch Emma shaking rugs and cleaning house – seemed she was always doing that. I left Kinsey many years ago but still remember some of these memorable things. My prayers and condolences to the family.

Vonnie, Ron and family so sad to hear about Dear Emma. She was such a nice, spirited lady and us Kinsey kids have very fond memories of Emma and Bernard and I am most sure they had some good stories about Keith, Kody and I. lol I spent many a summers reading a lot of books down in the cool library on hot summer days, not too mention racking up the candy bill on our account at the store. They are wonderful people and greatly missed. Prayers to you all.
