Funeral Service: will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gillette, Wyoming with Bishop Christopher K. Jackson officiating.
Interment: will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 2004 at the Cowley Cemetery in Cowley, Wyoming.
EmmaLee Weinand, age 2, died on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at her home in Gillette of unknown causes.
EmmaLee Weinand, known to her family as Emmie, was born the fourth child in the family on December 13, 2001 the daughter of Brian and Carene (Emmett) Weinand in Gillette, Wyoming. Emmie had to pack a lot of life into two short years. EmmaLee loved to attend her primary nursery class. She liked to ride in her red wagon and play outside with her family. She loved getting into mischief and she was very good at it. Emmies mother will miss her fast smile, fun personality, and warm hugs. Her father will miss her climbing into his lap to read and snuggle. Chad and Abby will miss her helping with all their projects and Kaleb will miss his partner in crime and best friend. She will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
EmmaLee is survived by her parents, two brothers: Chad Emmett and Kaleb Jay; one sister Abigail all of the family home in Gillette; maternal grandmother Diana Emmett of Lovell, Wyoming; paternal grandparents Michael and JulieAnn Weinand of Cowley, Wyoming and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jay Emmett and one uncle, Chad Weinand.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in EmmaLees name at the Community First National Bank of Gillette, Wyoming.
