Erika (Pederson) Davis
Erika Davis passed away unexpectedly on July 27th in a single vehicle accident east of Forsyth. She was only 52 years old.
Born March 26, 1972 to parents Eva and Don Pederson, Erika lived most of her life in eastern Montana, spending her formative years in Billings and Forsyth. She attended Forsyth High School and had her first two children, Kyle and Tia, shortly after. In 2005 Erika moved to Reno, NV and married Tom Davis. The couple went on to have a son, Wesley, and daughter Addy.
Erika worked as a bartender at Iron Horse Saloon in Forsyth, a position she took pride in. She enjoyed the social aspect and especially liked working near her two youngest children, who at times worked in the café. She enjoyed helping people, spending time with her children, riding motorcycles with Lonnie and Wesley, and their annual camping trip in Sturgis. Erika was a natural and loving caretaker to all who knew her, and a great cook. She will be greatly missed.
Erika leaves behind her children Tia, Wesley, and Addyson; her three grandchildren Ryleigh, Brooklyn, and Decklan; her Partner Lonnie Anderson; twin brother Jason Pederson (wife Andrea and daughters Reana, Reese, and Remi), sister Lena Pederson (partner Andrew Berg and son Silas), sister Gail Pederson (currently missing person) and her son Alex Brockel; ex-husband Tom Davis; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her son Kyle Pederson; and parents Eva and Donald Pederson.
Erika’s family and loved ones are invited to come together to celebrate her life with a memorial at the Iron Horse Saloon at 3pm on Sunday, August 18.

Hard to believe we will not see that energetic bounce and fabulous smile and the quirky way she held her lips when she was ready to flash that glorious smile! Erika brought sunshine wherever she was! Work was not “work” for her. What a role model for her kids and grandkids—who she loved beyond belief.
Car accidents make no sense! Our prayers to all the family🙏🌈🙏. Remember Erika’s spirit and that will get you through!

Erika was a great friend through the years and when we lost touch and finally got the chance to meet up again it was as if time stood still, nothing changed in our friendship. I always loved that about her, she didn’t care what anybody thought and was upfront about everything. From my family to her children and loved ones alike, our sincere condolences and prayers are with you all in the days ahead. May you take comfort in knowing that she is with her son Kyle, her parents and all other loved ones that were near and dear to her. We will definitely miss you Erika!

This is hard for me to believe. She was so vibrant and full of life. Her bouncing pony tail while she whizzed through her work was a trademark. We lost a sweet soul, but heaven is richer with her presence. My heart and prayers are with her children and her family. Many of us share your loss.

I have a picture of Erika flipping off the camera when someone FINALLY opened her locker which she was stuffed in smiling from ear to ear. Growing up with her was always a adventure, her big green car, playing eight track kiss cassettes!!!!!! She wasn’t a quitter.
