In Memory Of

Erma Allen

Erma D. Allen, age 48, of Terry passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City after a long battle with cancer.

Erma was born on June 18, 1955 in Poplar, Montana the daughter of Albert Sumner.

She attended schools in Mandaree, North Dakota. After her schooling, she worked with her husband, Hugh Stevenson on the Nefsey ranch north of Terry. In 1982, she married Gerald Peterson in Milbank, South Dakota. For the last 20 years she had worked as a traveling certified Nurses Assistant working across eastern Montana. On January 15, 1994 Erma and William Allen were married in Terry where she has made her home since.

Erma enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to car races, but most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Erma is survived by her husband William Allen of Terry, MT; four daughters: Lorie Stevenson of Elizabethtown, KY; Pamela Stevenson of Roy, UT; Shirley (Jeff) Linder of Baumholder, Germany; and Elysia Fischer of Fairfield, MT; two sons: Charles (Julie) Stevenson of Roy, UT; and Adolph (Mistie) Fischer of Billings, MT; two step children: Bo Allen and Candy Hart of Curtis, MI; four brothers: David (Laura) Sumner; Charles Sumner and Albert Sumner all of Hugo, OK; and Keith (Regina) Sumner of Wapaton, ND; a sister Cheryl K. (Larry) Helminick of Elizabethtown, KY; four step-brothers: Hugh (Joan) Stevenson, Ken (Deb) Stevenson, John Stevenson, and Randy Stevenson all of North Dakota; eight grandchildren: Heidi, David, Brittany, Nevada, Jorjanna, Ciara, Jayme, and Hayle; and numerous nieces an nephews.

Erma was preceded in death by her father, her first husband Hugh W. Stevenson, two brothers: Lynn W. Stevenson and James S. Stevenson; and a step-brother, Jerry Stevenson.
