Ethel Burley, age 88, of Broadus passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Powder River Manor in Broadus, Montana.

Ethel was born on October 27, 1917 in Olive, Montana to Will and Stella Hulford. Ethel attended grade schools in the Broadus area. Ethel married Dallas Burley in 1937 in Broadus, Montana. Ethel and Dallas were blessed with three children: Violet in 1939, David in 1940 and Marjorie in 1944. Ethel enjoyed all crafts especially knitting and crocheting, making afghans for family and friends. Her garden and flowers were her fun projects for summer. Ethel is survived by a son, David Burley and his wife Jeanie of Livingston, MT; a daughter, Marjorie Valdez and her husband Nick of Douglas, WY; eight grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dallas, a daughter Violet Lyons and an infant granddaughter.
