Ethel G. Webster, age 79, ofBroadus, MT passed away at the Powder River Manor on May 22, 2005.
Ethel was born on October 25, 1925 to Bob J.R. and Lula (Thompson) Nalley in Broadus, MT. She attended grade and high school in Broadus. On June 19, 1945, Ethel and Patrick E. Webster were married at the St. Davids Catholic Church in Broadus. Ethel loved a very clean home and neat yard. She was a great cook, and babysat children. Ethel enjoyed raising flowers especially sweet pea flowers. She was a member of the St. Davids Catholic Church and belonged to the Alter Society. Although, Ethel loved traveling she loved coming home to Broadus. She lived there her entire life until April 25th, 2005 when she moved to the nursing home.
Ethel is survived by her brother Lloyd (Dot) Nalley of Broadus, MT, sister Louise McDermott of Sturgis, SD and brother-in-law Joe Webster, sister-in-law, Gertrude Fruit of Broadus, MT, Rose Russell and Teresa Smith, her nephew Larry Gardner, niece Lenny Jone's and numerous other nieces and nephews and by her close friends Jim and Jane ODonnell of Miles City and Ella Mae and Walter Ferguson of Broadus, MT.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Pat, and two brothers: Jay and Paul.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at 1:00 pm at the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at 10:30am with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am at the St. Davids Catholic Church in Broadus. Rite of Committal will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.
