No services at this time.Eugene Gene Vejtasa, age 84, lifetime resident of Circle, MT passed away Monday, August 23, 2010 at the McCone County Nursing Home.
The son of John and Inga Vejtasa, Gene was born February 17, 1926 in Circle.
Gene enlisted in the Army in 1944 and served our country during WWII. He received an honorable discharge in 1946. Afterward, Gene worked as a carpenter and also had a small farm.On February 19, 1947, Gene married Eris Rorvik in Wolf Pont, and to this union two children were born.Gene enjoyed being a mechanic, building, collecting antiques, and tending to his garden.
Gene was a member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Inga; sisters, Frances and Mildred; and brother, John Stub.Gene is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eris Vejtasa, of Circle; daughter, Diane (Fred) Martin of Olympia, WA; son, Kim (Teri Ann) of Circle; grandchildren, Aaron and Jeff Martin, of Seattle, WA; and brothers, Stan Vejtasa of California and Frank Vejtasa of Circle.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.stevensonandsons.com. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
