On November 13th, 2019, proud mother of five and grandmother of 13, Eva Mae Briggs passed away at the age of 58.
Eva was born on March 31st, 1961 in Montana to her parents Agnes Old Bull and Wayne Standing Elk.
On January 19, 1975, she was baptized into the Catholic Church.
She was married to Joe Briggs for 19 years and divorce in 2007. They had 4 children together.
She was with her partner Charles Casteel of Marietta, Tx for 8 years until her passing.
Eva was a kind-hearted woman who had the spirit of servitude. She enjoyed listening to gospel hymns and country music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones. She was a very hard worker and a resourceful woman. She enjoyed volunteering at clothing ministries that helped the community.
Eva was preceded in death by her mother Agnes Old Bull, her father Wayne Standing Elk and brother Edward Sandcrane.
She is survived by her sister Sandra Sandcrane of Lame Deer, Mt, brother Pete Sandcrane of Andocanda, Mt, cousin Debbie Littlebird of Wichita, Ks and niece Jennifer Fox of Lame Deer, and nephew Quinton Sandcrane of Seattle, Wa. Her oldest daughter Shavon Talton and husband Derrick Talton of Douglasville, Tx have 4 children together. Her daughter Latasha Parker and Pd Parker of Daingerfield, Tx have 3 children together. Her son Joe Briggs of Dallas, Tx has 2 children. Her son Christopher Briggs of Dallas, Tx has one child. Her youngest daughter Sara Reunard and husband Daniel Reunard of Denison, Tx have 3 children together.
